Cookie policy

Optional analytics is enabled only when you choose “Accept analytics”. Essential security services continue to operate either way, and advertising storage and personalisation remain off.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on a device by a website. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, scripts, device identifiers and browser or device signals. UK rules can apply where a technology stores information on, or accesses information from, a visitor’s device.
What this site uses
| Service | Purpose | Category | Storage or duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Delivers and protects the website, filters malicious traffic and maintains availability. | Strictly necessary security and infrastructure | Technical request and security records follow Cloudflare’s applicable retention practices. |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Checks whether a contact-form submission appears human and prevents spam or automated abuse. | Strictly necessary security | Turnstile can use short-lived, account-scoped ephemeral identifiers. Cloudflare states that these do not require cookies or local storage and expire within a few days. |
| Consent preference | Remembers whether you selected “Accept analytics” or “Reject analytics” so the site can respect that choice on later pages and visits. | Strictly necessary preference storage | Stored in local browser storage as iambroon-consent until you clear browser data or the consent version changes. |
| Google Analytics, managed through Google Tag Manager | Measures visits and interactions such as opening songs, choosing music platforms and successful contact-form delivery. Form contents are not included in analytics events. | Optional analytics | Enabled only after consent. GA4 cookies may include _ga and _ga_<container-id>, with a default expiry of up to two years, subject to browser limits and Google configuration. |
| Spotify preview player | Plays a preview of a song inside the song window, so you can listen without leaving the site. | Optional embedded media | Loaded only when you select “Play preview”. Spotify then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under Spotify’s privacy policy. The player is removed when you close the song. |
Song pages offer an optional Spotify preview player. Nothing is requested from Spotify, and no Spotify cookie can be set, unless you choose “Play preview”. If you do, Spotify receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under its terms; closing the song removes the player. YouTube, Apple Music, Tidal and Deezer are never embedded, and open only when you follow an external link, at which point their own privacy and cookie terms apply.
Your choices
On your first visit, the consent panel offers “Accept analytics” and “Reject analytics”, shown with equal prominence. Optional analytics storage remains denied unless you actively allow it. You can revisit or change the choice at any time using “Cookie choices” in the footer. Choosing “Reject analytics” also expires first-party Google Analytics cookies that the site can access.
You can also use browser controls to block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking technologies needed for security may prevent the contact form from working, but you can still email hello@iambroon.music.
Provider information
